After seven years in the advertising & PR industry, Rachelle chose to pursue her passion for teaching & the outdoors by being a full-time Outdoor Educator and Adventure Challenge Facilitator. Since 1997, Rachelle has facilitated action-based activities, ropes courses and outdoor education programs in Asia and North America. She obtained her Professional Field Instructor Certification from Bradford Woods, Indiana University's Outdoor Center in 2004 and served as a Program Instructor for Higher Ground Youth Challenge in Colorado, Wildwood Outdoor Education Center in Kansas.

Rachelle actively travels for CISV, an international organization promoting peace and cultural awareness to the youth through experiential learning methods.

Rachelle has served as the Lead Facilitator for Leaps & Bounds, Management Strategies’ Teen Camp Program. She also designed and facilitates a leadership workshop that seeks to tap the creativity and leadership potential of children.

When Rachelle isn't topping off some rock with Gerry & their daughter AJ, she dabbles in writing children's stories and crayon resist painting. She is a published author and illustrator of a children's book entitled "Neil & His Airplane To The Moon" aiming to teach parents and children that their greatest dreams are important and attainable.
