Elcee Asuncion Villa
Elcee’s expertise lies in managing for sustainable change, branding cultures and developing results-oriented organizations. She works and consults with top teams in various industries in aligning their corporate culture to the language of their brand. Elcee has a deep regional network, having lived and worked in Hong Kong for 14 years, before moving to Kuala Lumpur in 1998. For 20 years, she was the HK and Philippine partner for TMI, an international training consultancy based in Europe, during which time she took the lead or participated in various global engagements. Elcee is a certified Branded Customer Service Consultant and a WIAL certified Action Learning coach. Her other passion is youth development. She helped set up KLYS, a not-for-profit football club in Malaysia and sat on the board of AIESEC Hong Kong.
After a career in brand management, Tina combined her love for the outdoors with her professional life by becoming a pioneer in corporate outdoor experiential learning in the Philippines. She has since expanded her expertise to designing and leading team development, leadership and branded culture processes for numerous clients in Southeast Asia. Tina is certified Branded Customer Service Consultant, and is also President of the World Institute for Action Learning (WIAL) Philippines. She is the only Filipino certified by WIAL Global as a Senior Action Learning Coach. In this role, Tina leads the development and certification of AL Coaches in the country. Tina holds a Masters degree in Industrial Organization from the Ateneo de Manila University. She is an avid martial artist, and continues to find romance with the great outdoors together with her family.
Partner and Country Manager, Philippines
Joi has over 20 years of experience in consulting and in the travel and hospitality industries. Her various postings as Senior Executive/ General Manager for hotels and a global hospitality network have honed her skills in the areas of branding, service quality and the strategic and tactical sides of running a business. Joi has been instrumental in expanding the exposure and client base of MgtStrat in the Philippines and the region, as she works with various associates and possible partners. She earned her MBA – Regis Program at the Ateneo de Manila Graduate School of Business. Joi took her Executive Coaching certification with AIMS International and Action Learning Coach certification from WIAL Philippines where she is also a director. She always enjoys a new challenge, tackling each one with grace and her gusty trademark laughter.
Val develops and facilitates various behavioral training programs for various companies in Southeast Asia. After more than 10 years of sales and operations experience in the travel and hospitality industry both in the Philippines and the US, She has since chalked up another 25 years in human resource development in the Philippines. Val worked with EO (Entrepreneurs Organization) for 16 years, the last 2-1/2 of which was as the primary support for the Global Board. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from the Schiller University in Paris, a diploma in Human Resource Development from the Ateneo Center of Organization Research & Development, and an Executive Coaching certification with AIMS International. In her downtime, Val enjoys traveling, golf and yoga. Her passion for yoga prompted her to join Ian Paredes in setting up Yoga+ Express.
Luisa has extensive experience in human resources, banking and retail management in the Philippines and the USA. Her attention to detail and organization skills make her a valuable asset to the company. She is responsible for putting together a team of MgtStrat consultants best suited to deliver client requirements, or a support team for large-scale corporate engagements. As a “professional shopper”, Luisa helps maintain the creative and innovative approach of MgtStrat as she locates hard-to-find resources for many of our new initiatives. Luisa completed her masteral units in Human Resources and Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco. She loves to travel, find bargain treasures and discover new restaurants with family and friends.
Ian combines his creativity and imagination, love for the great outdoors and business management experience to create unique adventure-based learning initiatives that spice up MgtStrat’s client engagements. Ian heads the company’s research and design arm and is the main proponent behind the renewed ‘mindfulness’ approach of MgtStrat. He was General Manager for one of the Philippines’ largest dive retail, education and tour companies, and now together with Val Eraña has set up Yoga+ Express to ensure that mindfulness is actively practiced at work and at home. Ian holds a diploma in Human Resource Development from the Ateneo Center of Organization Research & Development. On weekends, you’ll find him outdoors looking for our next adventur
Leo is known for his creative design that use leading edge methodologies, dynamic facilitation skills and ability to transform concepts into practical daily speak. He has more than 17 years experience in organizational development and culture change, and has worked with clients from various industries in the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia and China. He is a director for WIAL Philippines and is a Certified Action Learning Coach, Since obtaining his MBA from Globis University Graduate School of Management in Tokyo, his added a focus on strategic planning and direction setting. In addition to his work with MgtStrat, he runs his acclaimed photography course Photoworks for the public and corporations, creating more than 1,500 photographers in Asia since 2002.
